Click2Tutor provides online tutoring service designed specifically for students with learning disabilities. We provide one-on-one tutoring for learning disabled students from specially trained instructors.

Even bright kids can struggle in school and may be labeled with a learning disability, Dyslexia, ADD or ADHD. Some kids learn the basic skills, but don’t know how to use them to achieve academic success. If this sounds like your child, our tutors can help.

Having a learning disability doesn't mean you can't learn. But you'll need some help and you'll need to work extra hard. If you have a learning disability, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia (serious trouble with math), remember that you are not slow or weak. Learning disabilities happen because of the way a person's brain takes in and processes information. As a result, people learn differently. The trick will be figuring out how you learn best.

With Click2Tutor, students can get help from some of the finest tutors via the Internet at very reasonable cost—less than half the cost of hiring a personal tutor.

Where is our tutoring Done

Our unique Web-based classroom connects special needs students with live tutors from any computer with Internet access. Tutoring can be done at your home, school computer lab, library, faith based organization eg. Church or any place with fast internet connection! Students and tutors communicate in real-time through an easy-to-use online classroom, a headphone, a digital whiteboard and optionally a digital pen/tablet.

Our Special Education Instructors

Our special education instructors are trained to respond to the special needs of students with learning disabilities. When hiring instructors, we look for individuals who have graduate-level training in special education and who demonstrate exceptional patience and teaching ability.

Our special education instructors are committed to working together with parents and educators to monitor a student’s progress and suggest possible strategies for improving academic performance.

Class Size

Your child will be taught on a one-on-one basis, unless you prefer to participate in small groups. A typical small group consists of less than five students and you get discounted rates. It is our experience, students show progress because they receive individualized attention. Each student is personally evaluated by his/her instructor and provided with an individual study plan.

Curriculum

We will follow the curriculum of your choice or your particular school district. In case you have none, we will suggest our own. Our curriculum aligns to the best available homeschool curricula, eg. Parent Involvement

We continuously keep parents involved in the tuition plans and progress reports of your children. We arrange monthly and as-needed phone conferences with parents about the progress of their child. We value your input.

How it works

We provide FREE audio and whiteboard software. We help you install the same on your computer at no extra charge.

  • Once you have filled out the registration form of your school district and selected Click2Tutor as your supplementary tutoring provider, we will email you links to download our audio and whiteboard software plus the installation instructions.
  • The audio software allows you to speak hands-free with our tutor via the internet, keeping your home line open for personal calls.
  • The whiteboard software allows you to ‘see’ on your computer what the tutor is writing. Also, our whiteboard software has text messaging box - in case you want to send text messages to the tutor. Our software also has file upload/download capability, co-browsing, annotation tools, drawing tools, etc.
  • The student and the teacher interact in real time via the headphones and whiteboard. The student can use an online digital tablet, headphone, or chat box to communicate with our tutor.
  • The student can save the whiteboard lessons for future reference.
  • After the software is installed successfully, we will set up an initial phone conference between the student, the student's parents and our Academic Director. During the conference, the Director will review your child's academic level, skill gaps (if any), weaknesses in fundamental skills - and outline a tutoring program tailored to close such gaps.
  • Our teaching is aligned with your school district curriculum. However, we can cover advanced topics from our own Click2Tutor curriculum if specifically requested by you.
  • The Director will schedule online tutoring session at your convenient date and time. You will be given a valid student id and a password so that you can login to our online tutoring session.
  • At this time, you will be given an online demo of our whiteboard software, its capabilities and functions.
  • At the scheduled appointed time, you login to our online session with a valid id/password and our tutor will welcome you to the Click2Tutor’s online tutoring session!
